Do you want to make sure that you get a chance to cross-country ski, put on a pair of snowshoes or do a downhill run, whether it be skiing or sledging during your time in Krkonoše? At an altitude of 1 313 m, Dvorská bouda in the Krkonoše Mountains offers permanent snow conditions and a one-of-a-kind experience.

Cross-country skiing

The Krkonoše Mountains are each cross-country skiers dream. Our highest mountain range boasts dozens of kilometres of groomed cross-country skiing tracks. Every winter, it’s about 500 kilometres of marked trails that lead through the beautifully snow-covered landscape. Dvorská bouda is located only 1.5 km away from the spot where you can hop on the famous Krkonoše cross-country skiing highway. Put your skis on right in front of Dvorská bouda and decide on the direction you want to take.

Tips for trips.

Downhill skiing’

The closest ski lift to Dvorská bouda, Friesovy boudy, offers ideal downhill skiing conditions. It is located only 1.5 km away from the cabin. You can ski down to the lift, but you have to walk back up. So if you’re planning a combined holiday of winter hiking/cross-country skiing/downhill skiing, we recommend renting skis at Friesovy boudy. If you decide to bring your own equipment, we can transport your skis and ski boots back from Friesovy boudy by snowmobile (must be arranged in advance). The second option for children learning to ski is the lift at Grohmanova bouda (approx. 500 m from Dvorská bouda./p>

Ski mountaineering

Dvorská bouda is perfect for ski mountaineering experiences and, above all, is an excellent starting point. The Výrovka Cabin, which is 1.6 km away from Dvorská bouda, is a crossroads of several routes of varying difficulties, but no matter the route, you will always have a beautiful wintery view of the Krkonoše Mountains.
